Crowns and Bridges
Crowns are beautiful, natural looking restorations.
They form a protective cap over the remaining tooth and prevent further damage that may result in tooth loss. Crowns are used to restore teeth that have too much damage to be repaired with simple fillings. This may be a result of cracks, decay, broken areas, previous large fillings, or combinations of the above.
Bridges are similar to crowns but are used to replace a missing tooth. The teeth on either side of the space are prepared and a bridge with an artificial tooth in the space is permanently cemented onto the teeth.
